Overview

This activity is designed to enhance the nurse's knowledge of Oncology related diseases, symptom management, psychosocial dimensions, and nursing interventions for successful completion of the Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification exam. This is Day 2 of a 2 Day class.

ANCC Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:


  1. At the conclusion of this activity, the oncology nurse will self-report an increase in knowledge in order to successfully pass the Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN®) exam.

Registration

A Virtual Live Streaming Course

TheOncology Certification Nurse (OCN) Review will begin at 8:00 am on Friday, July 15, 2022, and will adjourn at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2022.

Telephone registrations are not accepted.

Registration Fees:

  • Cancer Network Partners - Exempt Fee
  • MD Anderson Physicians Network Nurses - $75.00
  • Non-MD Anderson Nurses- $125.00

Method of payment: Credit Cards Only - When registering online a receipt (confirmation letter) will be automatically emailed to the e-mail address you list on the registration.

Note: Supplemental Non- NCPD material will be provided via video links.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION:

To receive 7.50contact hours for this activity, the participant must:
•Create an account in the Professional Education Portal (PEP) and save your Mobile Number to your PEP account if not already done.
•Register for this activity.
•During activity, TEXT your attendance to1-844-912-1333and up to 24 hrs after the course has ended using theActivity ID provided by the Facilitator during program.
•Complete a participant evaluation in PEP, under the MyCE tab, within 30consecutive days of the learning activity where you will also have immediate access to your Certificate.
